Stories for the Italian Cycling Journal about rides, granfondos, touring, having a good time cycling in Italy, Italian cycling history, etc. are always welcome. Contact me at veronaman@gmail.com. There are more than 2,200 stories in this blog. The search feature to the right works best for finding subjects in the blog. There is also a translate button at the bottom so you can translate each page.

  1. Does anyone know what percentage (if any) of DeRosa frames are still Made-in-Italy? We've been told the titanium models are welded up by DeRosa and assume the steel ones are still made there as well (we are partial to those of course!) but the carbon we know little about other than the lower-priced models (848) are certainly produced in Asia.

  2. Doriano De Rosa builds the Ti bikes; if there was one De Rosa I would buy now it would be that one. The origin of all the carbon models I am unsure of but certainly there are some from Asia.
